Pasture Raised Eggs - Duck & Chicken

These are the best eggs money can buy! Our hens are annually inspected by A Greener World, upholding our Animal Welfare Approved certification. The chickens and ducks free roam during the day, and are tucked safely away in their houses during the night for protection against predators and weather. Most of their diet is sourced from their environment - bugs, grass seeds, and other foods, while having access to clean feed for added nutrient benefit. 

How are duck eggs different from chicken eggs?

Duck eggs and chicken eggs taste similar, but some describe duck egg yolks as tasting creamier than chicken egg yolks because they have a slightly thicker consistency. Duck eggs make fantastic baked goods (meringue anyone?) and french toast, or simply scrambled. Statistically, duck eggs have a higher protein content than chicken eggs and a thicker shell. Overall, because of their lifestyle, both of the types are highly nutritious.
